Over the years, the PTA has become one of the strongest voices in the educational process that directly supports our children and school. Your PTA committee has been busy developing the details for a very productive and exciting year aimed at enhancing the educational environment for all of our students. Idaho Teacher of the YearMrs. Lenz awarded Idaho Teacher of the Year!!
Erin Lenz, our amazing 1st grade teacher, was honored with a special assembly announcing that she is Idaho’s 2011 Teacher of the Year. The Idaho Teacher of the Year is one of the most prestigious honors, recognizing one teacher who exemplifies excellence across the state’s 16,000 teachers. The Idaho Teacher of the Year is chosen from among the districts’ nominees by a selection committee representing the state's education leaders and legislators. What an amazing teacher she is and we are so lucky to have her at Winton Elementary! Registration
Kindergarten Registration Please be sure to bring with you the following: Proof of Residence: Please bring a current utility bill which has your name and address printed on it. Certified Birth Certificate: The law requires that an original certified birth certificate is presented, hospital certificates and copies of certified birth certificates cannot be accepted. Contact the school if you are unsure how to obtain this document. Please note that it can take several weeks to complete the process if you need to order one. Immunization Records: Children entering Idaho schools are required to have 5 DTP, 4 Polio, 2 MMR and 3 HEP B, 2 VAR, 2 HEP A shots. Please bring their shot records for us to copy. If you choose not to immunize your child, you must fill out a waiver form that is provided by the State of Idaho, you can pick up the waiver forms at the school.
