student check in/out

If a child must leave early during the school day, the parent must stop by the office to sign him/her out. We will have your child meet you at the office. For your child’s safety we will not release any student to anyone other than parents or legal guardians without permission from parents. Students who are tardy or are returning to school from an appointment must check in at the office. Please try to schedule appointments for your child after 3:30 p.m.

Family Access Login

We have launched Family Access in order to give you access to your child's information in our Skyward system.  You should have received an email with your login and password information to allow you to access the program. Please contact the office if you have further questions.

Presentation Explaining Family Access

Winton Elementary School now offers Family Access, allowing parents to view student grades, progress reports, attendance, and discipline reports.  Parents are asked to check their email for their user ID and password. Those who do not receive the notification should first check their junk mail file before calling the school. Please make sure that you allow messages from noreply@cdaschools.org

phone policy

If your child brings a cell phone to school, it needs to be off and in their backpack while on school grounds.  If you need to contact your child during the day, please call the office.  Students will only be able to use the office phone with permission from their classroom teacher.

Please make sure your students know how they are getting home after school each day.  Discussing after school plans with your children before leaving home each day allows us to keep the phone lines open for emergencies.  If you need to let your child know about after school arrangements, please contact the school before 2:30 so we have enough time to notify your child.

School Closures

In severe weather conditions, school may be closed. Please watch the news on the major networks or listen to KVNI radio for closure info. If you go to www.kxly.com they have an option to sign up for email notifications when schools are closed.  Click the link below to access the site.
